A Conceptual Analysis to Fatigue

Abstract
Fatigue is a universal complaint that occurs with everyday life. It is often the first indication of the occurrence of some abnormality. The protective body mechanism warns that the body¢¥s physiological equilibrium is being broken down somewhere. Fatigue must not be understood as an indication of breakdown, but rather as an index of stress on adaptive body mechanism. Fatigue, therefore, must be considered as one of important concepts in health maintenace, and, accordingly, a conceptual analysis is explored in this study.
A precise understanding of fatigue will facilitate pinpointing causes and measuring outcomes, as well as understanding of overall phe:fomena. The study will contribute to building unambiguous communication among practitioners.
From the process of conceptual analysis, fatigue can be defined as :
1. The meaning of fatigue encompasses causes involved, status (disturbance in homeostasis) and results thereof as well as feelings outcome
2 Fatigue is composed of a series of feedback loop
3. Fatigue induces shortage in capacity (physically, psychologically, and /or emotionally)
4. Fatigue is a subjective selfevaluated sensation
5. Fatigue is a signal of disturbance in homeostasis
6. Fatigue varies in causes
7. Fatigue varies in its status
